The sample, construction, fit and leather are reviewed. Once approved, the pattern is graded into the sizes required.

Each pattern piece is placed around the natural character of the hide, cut and checked before it moves forward.
- 03 / 07Pre-assembly preparation
Cut pieces are aligned and backed, and the construction marks needed by the sewing line are added.
- 04 / 07Stitching
The line follows the approved construction. A 9-point in-line check catches issues while they can still be corrected.
- 05 / 07Finishing
Adhesive is removed, threads trimmed and edges prepared. A 13-point finishing check is completed.

A separate team checks every piece against 23 final-QC points: approved for packing, returned for repair or rejected.

How long does a leather jacket sample take?
A customised sample built to your tech pack is ready in the factory in 3 to 4 days. A sample from an existing base style is ready in 2 days. Shipping is on top and follows the carrier and route you choose.
Can you work from a tech pack, or do you need a physical sample?
Either works. Send a tech pack, graded pattern, reference sample, sketch or the name of a base style. The pattern is graded in-house into the size system your market needs before bulk cutting.
How is quality checked on a leather jacket?
Every jacket passes a 9-point in-line check at stitching, a 13-point finishing check and a 23-point final quality control by a separate team, more than 50 checks in total. Only approved pieces are packed.
