Seven-stage production journey

One product, checked at every stage.

From approved sample to final release, every step has a clear purpose and a check before the product moves on.

  1. Hands reviewing layered garment pattern pieces on a development table.
    01 / 07

    Sampling and pattern grading

The brief becomes a graded size system.

We review the sample, construction, fit and leather first. Once approved, we grade the pattern into the sizes required for production.

    Development and sample approval
  2. Hands cutting a leather skin around a paper pattern with a knife.
    02 / 07

    Leather-skin cutting

The graded pattern meets the selected skin.

We place each pattern around the natural character of the hide, cut every component and check the pieces before they move forward.

    Cutting-stage checks
  3. Hands aligning leather components beside cutting and marking tools.
    03 / 07

    Pre-assembly preparation

Each component is prepared for construction.

Before stitching, we align and back the cut pieces, then add the construction marks needed by the sewing line.

  4. Operators in navy uniforms working at rows of sewing stations.
    04 / 07

    Stitching

    Marked components become repeatable construction.

The sewing line follows the approved construction. A 9-point in-line QC catches issues while they can still be corrected at the line.

    05 / 07

    Finishing

The construction is cleaned and made shippable.

Finishers remove excess adhesive, trim loose threads and prepare the edges. At this stage, they also complete a 13-point finishing check.

  6. Close view of a shearling jacket lining, internal pocket, zipper, and leather edge.
    06 / 07

    Final quality control

A separate review decides what moves forward.

A separate team checks every piece against 23 final-QC points. Each piece is approved for packing, returned for repair or rejected.

  7. A packer in a navy uniform preparing a checked jacket beside labelled cartons.
    07 / 07

    Packaging and release

Only approved pieces are packed for release.

After final-QC approval, we protect, identify and pack each piece for shipment.

Repeat order planning

Plan the first order. Prepare for the next.

An early view of repeat orders helps us reserve the right materials, people and production time.

01

Know where your order fits.

Before you commit to volume, we review capacity, production dates and expected delivery.

02

Planning ahead can improve pricing.

A committed order schedule lets us plan materials and production time earlier. If that lowers our cost, we can reflect the saving in your price.

The questions sourcing teams ask before sending a brief. Anything not covered here is answered in the 30-minute product review.

What does Hide Fashion manufacture?

Leather jackets and outerwear, leather bags, leather belts and small leather goods, developed and produced at our factory in Noida, India, for export brands under OEM and private-label programmes.

Where is the factory?

E-153, Sector 63, Noida 201301, Uttar Pradesh, India, near New Delhi. Buyer visits are by appointment, and the sample room and production floor are part of the visit.

What is the difference between OEM and private ODM?

OEM: you send a tech pack, pattern or sample and we develop and produce to it. Private ODM: you start from a factory-developed, production-tested base style and direct the leather, construction, finish and branding. Both ship under your label.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Production runs from 50 pieces a style. The confirmed minimum depends on leather, construction and hand-work and is set at quotation.

How long does a sample take?

A customised sample built to your tech pack is ready in the factory in 3 to 4 days. A sample from an existing base style is ready in 2 days. Shipping is separate and follows the carrier and route you choose.

How is quality controlled?

A 9-point in-line check at stitching, a 13-point finishing check and a 23-point final quality control by a separate team, more than 50 checks in total. Each piece is approved for packing, returned for repair or rejected.

Which markets do you export to?

Brands in Europe, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the Middle East. Duty-free or reduced-duty entry may apply under India's agreements with Japan and the United Kingdom, and with the EU once the concluded agreement enters into force, subject to classification and origin documentation.

Do you sign NDAs, and how do we start?

An NDA is available. Send a brief, reference or tech pack through the form or to contactus@hidefashion.com. We confirm receipt within one working day and reply with the development route within two working days.

Which compliance records can you share?

Hide Fashion is a Sedex member. Audit details and export documents are matched to the legal entity, site and order scope and shared with buyers on request.
